Implementation of the third pellet plant, comprising the construction of a new beneficiation unity at Germano, MG, a pelletizing plant at Ponta Ubu, ES, and the second pipeline for ore slurry (396 km), linking these unities and passing through 25 cities in two States.
The objective is to increment the pellets production from 14 Mtpy to 21 Mtpy.

Project period: January 2005 to May 2008

Total investment: US$ 1,183 billion, being US$ 279 million at Germano; US$ 299 million for the pipeline; and US$ 605 million at Ponta Ubu.
